Academic Council of RAS on Precambrian geology problems

The Academic Council of RAS on Precambrian geology problems is approved by the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The Academic Council is associated with the Department of Earth Sciences. The founders of the Academic Council are the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Committee for Geology and the Use of Subsurface Resources under the Government of Russia. The Academic Council includes leading scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences and other departments which work on problems of Precambrian geology and implement their results into the practice of geological research. The Academic Council includes geological organizations of Academies of Sciences and higher educational institutions as associated founding members. One of the important directions is the organization of meetings and conferences by the Academic Council, which primarily discuss new results that are important for scientific and applied research.

The Academic Council was approved by the Decree of the Bureau of the Deptartment of Earth Sciences RAS No. 13000/1-2, February 19, 2019.
